Overview

Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium (IMDM) is a nutrient-enriched derivative of DMEM formulated to support rapidly proliferating and metabolically demanding mammalian cells. Compared with DMEM, IMDM contains increased concentrations of amino acids, vitamins, selenium, sodium pyruvate, and buffering components, making it particularly suitable for hematopoietic cells, lymphocytes, hybridomas, and stem cell cultures.

It is widely used in immunology, hematology, stem cell biology, monoclonal antibody production, and cell therapy research.
